Bruichladdich Distillery • 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
With its origins in the 19th Century, Bruichladdich distillery was on the brink of closure in the 1990s. It was resurrected and reimagined in 2001 with the aim to be pioneers in the industry and inspire distillers and drinkers to re-evaluate the relationship between distilleries and the agricultural ecosystems that support them.
The Bruichladdich Eighteen is the epitome of Bruichladdich's signature unpeated house style and represents a coming of age for the distillery and embodies a commitment to their sustained values.
Made using a combination of Scottish Mainland and Islay barley, with each varietal and harvest fully traceable from farm to bottle. The single malt has matured exclusively on Islay primarily in ex-Bourbon casks. These Bourbon casks, together with a smaller number of Sauternes and Port casks, are vatted and married for nine months before bottling to balance Bruichladdich’s signature floral and fruity character.
Designed to reduce waste, the bottle is presented in a bespoke outer wrap made from fully recyclable paper pulp. The first of its kind in the whisky industry.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Beautifully fragrant on the nose with notes of violet and lavender balanced by coconut and vanilla from American oak.
The palate is luxurious suggesting ripe, honeyed stone fruit, sweet butterscotch and crème brûlée, finishing with a subtle minerality on the finish for which Bruichladdich is renowned.
