Super-heavily peated malt from Islay's Bruichladdich Distillery. Octomore 14.1 is the backbone of the 14th annual Octomore series - the necessary comparison from which the other expressions alternate and evolve. 

Distilled from 100% Scottish Concerto barley and peated to 128.9 PPM and matured for five years in first-fill ex-American whiskey casks, the 14.1 shows the careful balance between smoke, malt, cask and maturation.
