Electric Spirit Co. is distiller-owned and run. Started in 2015 by James Porteous, and award-winning graduate from the Heriot Watt Brewing & Distilling MSc, every drop is distilled and packaged by James at the Coburg Street Distillery in Leith, Edinburgh.

Achroous is carefully designed to be different, while maintaining the distinct character of gin. Juniper and coriander, as well as orris, liquorice and angelica roots, make up the gin's backbone, with fennel seed and Sichuan peppercorn rounding out the short bill. The result is a gin with resinous juniper base, and earthy floral aroma and a  rich, spiced sweetness on the palate.
