Holyrood Distillery have taken a different approach to this usually botanical-laden spirit by focusing on the key ingredient - juniper - and bringing its true depth to the foreground.

They have used two further ingredients, which they call modifiers, to enhance the gin’s flavour and texture. They use Isle of Skye sea salt to add a rich depth to the juniper flavour, and natural beeswax to create a uniquely smooth and oily texture to their gin.
