J. G. Thomson & Co was originally a wine & spirits merchant based in Leith with roots dating back to the 18th century. The business occupied The Vaults in Leith, now home to The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This historic name has now been re-born with a fantastic new range of spirits.

The Rich Blended Malt is made up of Speyside and Highland malt whiskies matured in a range of American and Spanish oak casks - butts, hogsheads and even quarter casks - seasoned with Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry. It's a Sherry bomb, crafted to be a sensation for the whisky enthusiast.
